First photos of Catwoman’s cat ears leaked!

New photos have leaked via JustJared of Catwoman on the set of The Dark Knight Rises. These new photos have finally given us our first look as to how Selena Kyle may receive her Catwoman moniker in the upcoming film.

The “spy goggles” that Catwoman wore in the first released promotional shot can be flipped up to mimic the look of cat ears. This approach by Christopher Nolan keeps with the more realistic tone that the first two films upheld while still offering a bit of fan service to those with knowledge of the series. The lack of cat ears in the early promotional photo led to much argument whether the ears should be included, and whether they fit within the Batman Nolan-verse.

I think the look works, but I will remain skeptical until I see the costume on film in the forthcoming trailer. With the movie not set to release until July of next year it may be some time before we see it in action and see whether Nolan’s plan has paid off.
